Just another data point,
I've used the Jamar master cylinders for in operation for almost
4 years without a problem. They were recommended by FlightCrafters
long before the factory gave in to hand brakes.  The only change I've
made over the years is to increase the length of handle to increase
the mechanical advantage.  My wheels and brakes are standard
Matco.
