Lame Bureaucracy at work. One could skip the gas-petrol cans and perform a
vehicle-to-vehicle transfer by filling up the family auto, and use it as the
transfer tank using a pump of some sort. Of course, there could be some law
restriction there too \:|

That's ok then there are currently 40 litres in the boot of my car and thus
they must be legal as long as the cans stay out of the garage.

defines metal cans and you can only keep 2 gallons maximum on your
premises unless in a vehicle.

Dear UK Europa owners.
I have been refused the sale of Mogas at a Tesco petrol station in West
Sussex, on the grounds of using a clearly marked 20 litre fuel canister.
When I queried this, I was shown a West Sussex County Council Trading
Standards notice setting out that 20 litre containers are not acceptable
