Hello All Again,
While Ira is coordinating the engineering meeting at Sun-n-Fun, I'm
working the not on the web folks who may not be aware of the fly-in.
I am making the list of folks normally not on the web and getting them
in the loop.
>From the Factory, to repeat my previous posting:
During Sun 'n Fun (April 21-26,2009) we plan the following:
Our site location is N-99 and 100 which is on the main thorough fare off
of building A.
We will have Homer Baker's (my first project) there with a motor glider
wing and display the new LSA wing prototype. If something unforeseen
happens we have backups.
Company Representatives are of course:
Dave Stanbridge, owner of Europa, now part of Swift Technology Group.
Mike McLean from Sales
John Wheeler from Sales
and Yours truly.
Jeff and Mary Behrens have committed to help as has Steve Pitt.
Jerry Hope is working to be there also.
I hope all our owners will be there for the week, weather, time and
business permitting.
We are in the final stages of coordinating our activities (fighter pilot
term: Getting our s--t together).
Rebecca Hanes from marketing and I have a great plan for the display as
well as new brochures, show price lists and handouts.
A Europa Forum to discuss where we are going is in the works (day to be
decided based on your attendance plans and the forum schedule).
Local "Engineering" meetings of course will occur almost daily.
Our print and electronic ads are in production both here and abroad. (In
the US you'll see the full page ads in Kitplanes, Sun-n-Fun magazine,
AvWeb, etc. for the show alone. More advertising to follow.)
Flights for prospective buyers and builders is not out of the question.
For those flying in, transportation to lodging can be coordinated with
me as I will have a vehicle on site.
In the past year, we are seeing buyers who were formerly sitting on the
fence for a number of years now coming forward to buy! Needless to say,
we are all happy, as you should be too.
I, of course, would love to see a full row of Europas at the show.
I will watch those coordinating with Ira and will make myself available
if you have special needs.
My job will be to bang the phone and contact our other owners Ira can't
reach through the web.
If you know a builder or owner in your area, team up for the event. The
more the merrier. Review the
www.sun-n-fun.org<http://www.sun-n-fun.org/> website for camping
considerations. They have a new website, and although it is still a
work in progress, they are working hard to get it together.
If you are sitting on the fence, come on down and bring sun screen
(Fighter pilot term: Get your s--t together, make a hole in your
schedule, and get some sun.) This is a great time and place to share
our building and flying experiences.
There is new excitement and optimism at Europa. Your support and
activities over these last few years is a large part of the why Europa
is turning around. I hope to see you all at the show.

Hi All,
All of this cold weather lately has me planning to attend SnF in sunny
Lakeland. I think it may be time to start planning a good old fashion
"Engineering" meeting of the sort familiar to generations of Flight
Crafters
and Custom Flight Creations alumni! Of course all are welcome.
Europa is planning a big presence at SnF this year. I don't yet know
their
schedule for events, but I'd like to invite Dave Stanbridge to the
party, er
meeting.
Anyone else planning to go this year?
