I just scrambled together a DOS-capable computer and got the TCU
connected. My 914 has had only 49 minutes at the factory...
I also checked the readings of the TCU, and I noticed that the airbox
temp reading was 10 degrees Celcius higher than the real temperature.
This was without the engine running, and completely cooled down (not
started for more than a week).
I guess this airbox-temperature thing is only used for lowering the
boost pressue if the airbox gets to the critical temp of about 70-80
degrees Celcius, so I assume this is nothing to worry about, especially
not because I have an intercooler and do noet expect such high airbox
temperatures.
