Europa-List: choke actuator stiffness

Hi folks. We are just starting to troubleshoot a stiff choke actuator - thinking
the panel might need to be removed. Anyone have any  pointers to the root cause
of binding with this control, and a likely fix?

Oh, and our parking brake control is also rather stiff ....:-(
