You are right Karel, there are too many accidents caused by pushing the
weather due to "get-home-itis". We must keep in mind that our little
airplanes are not designed for that and most of us (at least in Europe)
are VFR pilots only.
I met Jiri/Georges at the RSA fly-in in Vichy two years ago and had a
short flight with him, as he wanted to have my own feeling on the
vibration level of his Europa Monowheel OK-EXS.
A very nice guy. I will miss him. My thoughts go to his young family.

<<<<<<Nowadays we can get good meteo information. Let us take a lesson
out of this accident. We are good weather pilots and fly in only VFR
conditions with our small airplanes.
Nevertheless, I am very sad for what happened to the brothers Vicharek,
and
hope some one will bring my condoleances to their families.
