Hi Jeffrey,
I mounted my light at the top of the left outrigger fairing. It is a 35w
'taxilight' with a conventional bulb. However, the illumination is
really not very satisfactory. One day, I will mount an HID light in the
same spot. I plan to use a light from Trail Tech
<http://www.trailtech.net/index.html>. I think a 30 watt HID SCMR16 #
4252-SX will meet my needs. See catalog
<http://www.trailtech.net/media/catalog/TT-CAT-09_lowres.pdf>.
I also intend to look at using a 'snowdome
<http://www.snowdomes.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=kit2medround_info> for
a fairing. This idea was posted earlier by a very creative Europaphile.
Cheers, John
