Try Aeroweather for your iPhone. http://www.aeroweather.ch/ It will give
METAR and TAF for named Airports or ICAO Codes and is very quick to update
with whatever communication channels the iPhone can find or use. I also have
Memory Map CAA Maps loaded as standby. You may find you can get French Air
Charts too.
