To fellow Europaphiles,
I agree with Kevin's comments regarding cross country travel adventure
in the US. One can stop at any number of out of the way places and meet
the most interesting people who always go out of their way to help.
Usually the courtesy car is available (often of dubious vintage and
"Just don't take it out of the county!" ). Just add some gasoline. It is
fun and you see a side of the US which not many people have a chance to
look at.

Troy,
After we left RR Sunday we stayed the night in Ponca City,OK (KPNC). We were
greeted by the Mayor and given the keys to the mini van and club house!
Monday we called it quits in Winslow, AZ (KINW) where the fuel guy said "you
did'nt hear it from me, but if you look under the floor mat of the old blue
station wagon you'll find the keys". We had some great laughs cruising route
66 in our '81 Reliant wagon. So we did add a couple days to our RR 2010
Europa adventure!
