Hi Will,

I've looked this over...intriguing...w/ the turbo, EFI, and low
weight, it looks like a nice package for someone w/ a pioneering
spirit. It's beyond my competence to comment on the available gear
ratios, so I'd look for some assurance from someone knowledgeable
about mating a particular airframe, engine, and prop combination. Thus
far it looks like the applications have been for aircraft much slower
than the Europa, and there may be issues which only the "early
adopters" will uncover.

it would be intriguing to me to make this engine part of a Europa-
lite...watching the weight on everything...and seeing what's possible
w/ 80 ponies...closer to the original design, i'd venture.

Having gone the other direction, I've just spent about 9 months making
a mounting frame, extensive cowl mods, exhaust system, and cooling
system for my MPEFI Sube...more power, and more weight than typical.
it's been a bit surprising to me that things have more or less fallen
into place or at least appear to have done so...but it's not for the
faint of heart...the proof will be in the pudding. I paid $16,500 for
my engine, plus about another $2,000 for fittings, hoses, radiators,
exhaust components, 4130 steel & welding, etc. As I recall mentioning
to others, a high tolerance for ambiguity has helped me reach this
point.

Best of luck in your search and decision,

Fred
