Roger,
I have a Champion oil filter from factory on my 914 which is
octagonal in shape (that is not having a smaller hex drive on 'top') and
cannot shift it. I need to half-fill it to inaugurate the oil system. Can
one still get a 3"+/- hex wrench to fit it or can I use some sort of heat
treatment to make it lose its grip? I understand later versions have an
easier method of rotating.....
Cheers, Ferg
