I have the Trig unit. I blew it up when I installed it!! Completely my fault I
sent it back and they fixed it straight away at no cost even though they knew
it was because I am an idiot.
I was concerned that it would be harder to set with 1 knob rather than 4. I have
found it much easier and just 1 button to go back to 7000.
My squawk is always seen.
What more could you ask for?

of the country for much of last year. I am trying to bring myself up to date
as to the requirements for Mode S. My first question is do I really need to
have it in the UK for VFR flights? What about flying on the continent? There
is much info on the web but it looks like there are a lot of exceptions to the
rules for VFR flights in our airplanes.

the Trig TT21 will fit in the same space. What experience have others had with
this unit?
