Well done guys. I was up doing weather from 04.30 Thursday and there was no
way you would have flown from the North East to the South coast except in
life risking conditions. I had the tail end of a urinary infection after an
endoscopy 10 days earlier (Good news though .....first "inspection"
indicates the bladder cancer gone although it can never be trusted as
experienced with Jan, so watch this space! Then I had a major problem with
my winch cable meaning I wouldn't be able to re-box the plane on return so I
felt that there were far too many things telling me not to even try. I
really did want to attend the show ...I hope we will be getting full reports
---From those who did attend?
Best regards

Subject: Europa-List: Friedrichshafen
Just a quick update to say that despite the weather a successful gathering
of Europa owners has taken place at Biberach in the last few days. Those
attending were Dave Bosomworth, Ian Cook and myself from the UK, Bill Sisley
---From New Zealand, John Roedseth and partner from Luxembourg, Dirk Oyen and
Karel Vranken from the Belgium/French border. Of special mention is Ivor
Phillips who actually flew his Europa from Lydd to Biberach on Thursday in
what was unkind weather. One further Europa was seen at Friedrichshafen
PH-MJW so we did our best.
A further report will be sent for the Europa Flyer.
