Jeff,
Congratulations on the first flight. Good luck with the engine issues.

Hello Europaphiles,
Yesterday I flew N127ZP! A Jabiru powered 3300 Europa Monowheel Classic build
kit #12 at Williamson- Sodus Airport KSDC. The airplane flew beautifully!
Unfortunately,
I had some engine issues and upon landing my engine seemed to have
seized up. In hindsight possibly due to the gear up failure last June which
resulted in a prop strike during run-up testing may have finally figmented
itself
into a real problem under flight loads: But better it happened on the ground
than in the air!
Although under great duress and stress to get down quickly, the airplane flew as
advertised, my adrenaline rush made my first solo monowheel landing a thing
of beauty or so I am told by my ftest flight crew. Well I have the engine off
the airplane to be sent back for inspection and probably a major tear down and
I will have to sort out some issues with the engine airframe combination before
I get N127ZP back in the air again.
