Subject: Europa-List: Quiet plane
Walking with my wife this morning, in glorious weather
along the hairpin in the Severn when at around 11.30 an
amazingly quiet plane flew over at perhaps 2500ft. Out
with the binocs & it proved to be a mono Europa. Had to
bite my tongue not to say 'Wouldn't it be great to be
flying.' (Su was severely mentally traumatised by some
f...oreign pilot in the Alps many years ago and came down
saying she would never go in a small plane again! )
But whoever it was, (? Tim), I am sure you had a
great flight! David Joyce, G-XSDJ
