My guess is that its to re-build the centre tunnel where the tie rod cuts 
through it .

On my 1370 lb weight increase mod I have a piece of foam "Euro 49", and I 
haven't come across instructions yet on what it is for. Its 265x60x2.5 mm. 
Any ideas?
