Thank you all for your useful help and suggestions.

I called the factory this morning and this is something that they carry as 
spares
in stock. The lovely Karen is putting a couple in a jiffy bag first class post
so hopefully I shouldn't be grounded for too long.

I've ordered two, one to fit and one to make a copy of in something a little 
more
robust.
