I had a string of these led lights to light up an awning on a caravan. I did
n't use a power pack just connected them to the 12v battery they worked fine
and very bright.

dless to say, they shipped from China and they took about 2 1/2 weeks to arr
ive here. The LED string is supposed to be weatherproof and it has an adhes
ive backing with peel-off cover/protector. One end is provided with red/bl
ack pigtails for connection to the power pack/dimmer:

symbols where cutting is permitted. Also available are connectors to attac

ave a pack of those connectors on order but they have not arrived yet.

pack/dimmer set to minimum power there was a surprising output of light wit
h a current draw of 0.1A.

h I believe will work quite well. But that will only take about 1 - 1.5 met
ers of string. I=99m thinking about running the remainder inside the c
enter tunnel of the Europa for lighting when I=99m working inside ther
e. I think my biggest problem will be mounting that funky, big power pack/d
immer in an unobtrusive location.

I haven=99t gotten up the courage to tackle the multi-color string ye
t. And the prices are very affordable for the tinkerer.
