Europa-List: Icom a24 headset adapter squealing

There was a question recently about the headset adapter on the a24, which 
squealed
when transmitting.  I checked mine again, and discovered it also squeals if
I used the handset's ptt switch.  It does work fine however if one uses a ptt
switch plugged into the adapter, which is how I had used it.
