About 3 years ago my aircraft got converted from mono to tri-gear and I elected to keep things simple by retaining the lever for manual flap operation. No electric motor has been added, to keep weight down. I agree that the loads involved in moving the flaps seem reasonably constant throughout the travel of the lever, perhaps becoming slightly heavier towards the fully extended position. Just a subjective opinion. Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=459407#459407 |
