| Hi Erich, As an alternative, I've re-sprayed mine and then covered it with 3M 8672 clear polyurethane protective tape. I haven't flown with it yet, but I'm hoping that the tape will afford some protection for the paint from stone chips etc. I once used this tape as a gap seal on my Airtourer's flapperons so I know it can withstand air loads and remain stuck on in a hostile environment.
