The Pilotaware company refer to Anker chargers as being quiet. But I have no 
direct
experience to confirm that.

I have three....the interesting thing is that they all started quiet but 2 of 
the
three one a Duracell and the other a Chinese whatever have become intermitently
noisy.
The quiet one is from an ancient tomtom gps.  Go figure.
Can anyone recommend quiet usb chargers (cigarette lighter type)?
