Ive now got fuel in the new build, enough to check the resistance of the sender
installed. It seems to go from 0 ohms when empty to 63 ohms with 30 litres in
and has gone from 21 to 44 in steps, so I assume as the float goes up switches
are opening and resistors are switched in.
My questions are
a) if it shows eight steps are the switches arranged so as to cater for the odd
shape of the europa tank or is it non linear?
b) can anyone confirm what the gauge ought to be ?
