Wow, horror story regarding shipping of aircraft. I guess the trick would be to find companies with established reputation and pay $$$ as well as informing oneself on how to do it right. I have a friend that shipped his Maule form the US to South Africa and back and seemed to work OK. But the post is well taken and much thought has to go into this (if I ever happen to do it).
