I had considered silicon tubing but discarded the idea as most of the examples
Ive handled seem to collapse rather easily under vacuum. I imagine steam hose
expects to have positive pressure inside all the time!
I certainly have plenty of 6mm (and indeed 8mm) fuel hose lying around spare
because
I have used a combination of solid aluminium pipe and SS braided hose for
my fuel system. Ill see how much of a push it takes to get the 6mm fuel hose
onto the 8mm expansion tank outlet.
