Europa-List: Mono tire size - debate?

So i replaced my Airtrac 7.00 with an 8.00 during my frame repair, and am very
happy with the larger tire.  Better deck angle for landing, greater prop 
clearance,
better on grass i imagine, no clearance  or rubbing issues (i did however
trim the throttle box a bit of excess height).

I do remember folks complaining about swing-arm rubbing, but I've not had any.
Just a tiny but of caliper rubbing with new pads. Yet everyone appears to be 
running
the 7.00 these days?
