Chris,
When we got to OSH I think the winds had died a little and were no problem. I
made a terrible landing at KUNU after a beautiful landing at KHXF in gusty
winds.
I think a combination of gusty winds, tired from the stress of the arrival,
having to divert because of runway closure and although not noted in the airport
data, I swear the runway slopes downhill.
The mono handled it all well. I find most winds not much problem. Crab into
the
wind and straighten just before touchdown. Having the outriggers set high
helps with this.
