Duncan - no need to feel bad - the reconditioning mentioned was in 2009.
It had been in use for 10 years since you sold it to me in 1999 - see:
<http://www.rowlandcarson.org.uk/aviation/europa_435/199911.php>
I am not using the pump nowadays so I=99m prepared to consider
releasing it to a good home - open to offers, so copying this reply to
the Matronics list.
I now use my single-cup balance:
<http://www.rowlandcarson.org.uk/aviation/europa_435/balance.php>
and find it as handy as the pump, and it does not gum up if left
untended for long periods!
in friendship

my epoxy pump to Rowland (in good faith and not realising that it needed
any reconditioning). I always regretted letting go of that pump.
