finish
something good should come out of it :D
As far as speed not sure if its faster. When I get the speed fairings back in I
will do some checks to see. And for weight, I very much doubt its still under
800. Its true what they say that as it gets older it gets fatter :) I have added
quite a bit of junk in it since that first flight. Ill let you know as soon
as I find a set of scales to redo the W&B. My estimate is that now I am in the
low 800s. Well see.
I choose to make the wing root fairings removable because I never quite liked
the
idea of not being able to see things such as the aileron QDs, wires, hoses,
etc when the wings were on particularly as the airplane gets older. Matter of
preference I guess. I worked on them this week and now fit nice. I can finally
paint them.
BTW, one thing I did during the painting process is the cockpit widening mod. Im
happy I did. Feeling the door sill on my arm always bugged me and now I dont.
Improvement.
