Thanks... The tailbeacon position light is the transponder's power gateway. 
Turning off the light also turns off the transponder. Panel mounted switch to 
the right of the comms radio provides function override. And for the cost of 
the LED position light with free transponder attached it would not be good 
value if nobody could see the light inside the fuselage.ð?¤?
