I might just add that I incorporated the Bug Yerly modification prior to 
putting any fuel in my tank.
This was published in the Europa magazine and involves filling the gap between 
the bottom of the tank and the aircraft fuselage floor with non-expanding foam.
Since this mitigates the previous problem with weight on the "ledge" that the 
tank sits on, it stop it cracking and therefore leaking.
I have only just done the first engine start in December with a few runs since, 
so I do not have any flight time as yet - a year of paperwork awaits.
However I am reluctant to pull out all the nicely installed fuel piping on the 
off-chance that something that has not happened and has been already mitigated, 
might happen, even though it should not.

I wonder if Europa could benefit from actually speaking to the Europa club, who 
have a wealth of knowledge.
