The tube has to be installed as low to the floor as possible, but if it gets too low, the outer edge of the CS02 fork will rub against the glassfiber flange. Also, when the tube is tilted to set the proper 5-7mm gap at the rear bearing, this flange will prevent the front bearing from tilting with the tube. If the tube tilts and the bearing does not, the controls will stiffen up. Ideally the whole flange should be removed to allow the bearing to tilt freely, but just removing the area around the CS02 fork seemed sufficient.
