My chock weighs 11.3 oz. Since I made the corner radii smaller than the manual suggests, it should be marginally heavier than it might have been. Depends on how hefty your flox fillets are as well, of course. I agree with Graham S. about making the Rutan plate. I did this, though on a sheet of thin polythene, and when it came out towards the lighter end of the range given in the book I was happier that I was achieving an acceptable weight.
