The trouble with the engine monitor is it is difficult to read and you
really need a see the rpm settings at a glance. We have fitted both. The
engine monitor is good for alerting the pilot as to to any unusual temps
and pressures etc.
Our normal tacho is the Rotax one - seems to be OK - maybe the Mitchell
one is cheaper !
