The first Owner built Europa flew today. Peter Kember's beautifully finished airplane made it's first flight under the steady hand of Pete Clarke and performed as advertised. Dry weight was 792 lbs and on the second of two 25 minute flights reached 120 kts at 5200 rpm. Peter has a Rotax 912 and the airplane is exactly as designed by the team at Kirkbymoorside. Graham |
