While on the subject of laptops in the cockpit etc. an article in the October
issue
of Flyer mentioned the availability
of a glass flight management EFIS panel from by Archangel in the States. This
unit
was being demonstarted on their stand
at Oshkosh. The unit had a 8.5" x 6.5" color LCD display presenting airspeed,
altitude,
horizon and heading, as well as
nav, fuel, engine and systems, and a variety of checklists -using touch screen
sensors to select the options.
I wonder if one of the US builders could find out more info on this unit? Who is
Archangel and where can they be
contacted?
