Now for a what if....
Wouldn't it be better to do the final alignment of the plate after the cockpit
has
been bonded in, then you would have a firmer structure. Acces here is
a problem so what are your thoughts about the following (and
seemingly drastic procedure)
Cut the cockpit mounding along a line immediately behind the seats
just forward of the point where it drops into the baggage bay. Remove
the baggage bay and rear bulkhead and leave aside.
Mount the cockpit and bond to lower fuselage.
Perform all wing incidence set up and align aileron thrust plate
alignment. With the baggage bay removed you have free access to the
area to get a perfect alignment on what is now a stable structure.
Reinstall baggage bay and rear bulkhead making a joint as appropriate
to bond the two cockpit parts together again.
Bond bulkhead to lower fuselage.
