The RS switches would no doubt be fine. I have used 7mm (hole dia) button
switches by Maplin, but not their smallest, as you need a button larger than
the tip of the bolt cone. You can adjust the make-position using the barrel
nuts.
One of the headrests is a good place to route the wiring for the siren, and
powering from a battey saves having any connectiions to the instrument
module. And then with no requirement for aircraft power your changeover
switches at the front can be switched to NC. Result is entry alarm system
when unattended. Thinks......
how to use the door lock to do the switching ?. - hmmn...there are two
isolated hinges up the top ........
