Over the years I have had some problems with relays in high vibration
environments
momentarily breaking contact at quite low 'G'. I've even seen it happen in
automobile type relays.
In most cases this is not a problem if you are aware it can happen, but a
self-latching relay remembers! I'm assuming a spare pole latching the
coil.
Have you experienced the problem in aircraft?
