Say goodbye to your friends, invite them to film you as you scream off into
the blue yonder - 20 minutes later , no appearance - engine won't start ?,
fire on the parking line ?, electrical fault ? no .... at the tyre kicking
stage you've dropped the oil filler cap into the engine !
No it won't come out past the silencer (even screws have learnt to avoid that
) even if the bottom screws are released - so all the cowls need to come off
!
But check the top of the footwell first, that's where mine was !
