Yes, these need to be inspected occasionally, particularly soon after you
start flying and may need retightening. All the rubber hoses will relax a
bit under pressure. Coolant hoses too. Most of us put in two inspection
holes just below the fuel tank outlets. 4" ID on the flange, 5 1/2" OD on
the panel.
