>When I originally fixed my control torque tube and bearing together I put
in a polythene bag as a spacer. After cure the polethene was ripped out
leaving the merest hint of end-float in the bearing which dissppeared upon
lubrication. So far, there is no binding with changes in temperature<
This may be the good solution.......for those who have not bondet the tube in
yet.
I only can confirm that this really is a problem - especially in the nordic
countries
!
Here in Vienna we have now -3C and my aileron control became very
stiff......whereas
in
summer they are really light. Don't know what it is like when it is going to be
even colder
like -10C !!??
Currently my Europa is in my garage for some maintanace but I really would like
to fix this
problem.....but how ??
Best regards,
Klaus
