I am a lurker in second-hand bookshops for anything on an aviation theme.
Still saving my copy of that one for a future holiday read.

I would also commend Nevil Shute's "An Old Captivity", first published
1940, as romantic background reading for anyone planning a NA crossing. My
1951 Heinemann edition even has a route map in the endpapers.
