One does wonder how the word flox could be fitted into a French novel? I
assume there must be some other meaning in French.
Flox of sheep perhaps?
The flox we builders refer to is flocked cotton, a fine powdery material
added to resin as a strengthening material.
Why we call it flox I have no idea.
