The flap tube has a low point at the center which would retain water if it should enter while the aircraft is on the trailer. While I will coat the inside of the tube by sloshing thinned par-al-ketone through it, I wonder if a 1/16 drain should be drilled at the low point? Would this weaken it significantly or tend to cause cracking? John A044 Newtown, CT |
