I find that to debond anything similar, application of a flame directly is
not the quickest way and risks damaging adjacent parts.
Rather, if something with lots of heat capacity( eg a bit of copper pipe or
whatever) that fits snuggly in or around the part to be removed is
separately heated then, when hot, brought in to contact , heat transfer is
more rapid and more local.
