1) Is Europa going to come out with a standard conventional gear
configuration, two main gear in front and a tailwheel in back?

No. There is a third party development underway however.

2) What is the status on the aux. fuel tank, ie filling, connection, usage,
etc...?

It is still under development.

3) Is there another price increase on the horizon?

Nothing forseen within the next six months (but watch the exchange rates!).

4) Will Europa offer the 912S as an engine option? If yes, what will it take
to install one in a Europa?

Yes, it will be a standard option. There was one on display on the Europa
stand at Oshkosh. It has the same gear ratio as the 914 so will need to have
the prop pitch set coarser than on the 912.

5) What about the glider wings?

The development was been delayed while Europa worked on the XS wings. Work
will recommence shortly. The testin will be performed by both Europa and
Derek Piggott (glider pilot extraordinaire) and if they are both satisfied
the wings will be released.

6) What is the status of the optional Speed Mods? They are listed in the
price list, but no information is available.

These consist of fairings for outrigger and flap arms.

7) How long is the C.G. range on the Europa?

See the owners manual! It is wide enough not to get you in trouble if you
load up and then run the tank dry (unlike one aircraft I fly!!)

8) Any other mods comming out?

Yes. As problems and areas of improvement are found then mods will be issued.
This is common to all aircraft.

9) What about the nose gear problem(for Tri-gear planes)?

The manufacturer of the nose assembly "forgot" to heat treat the arm! The
arms have been recalled for treating.

10) What is the status of the larger wing pins?

Still being worked on for the XS. "May" be option for the classic.

11) I hear there are cooling problems for the Europa in warm climate regions.
What is the status of this? Is there a cowling mod comming up?

Most likely. This will be optional to open up the outlet area on the XS
cowling if it causes you problems.

12) Will Europa offer a "Intercooler" option for the Rotax Turbo914
configuration?

No.

13) Is Europa looking into other propeller configurations, ie Constant
Speed/Inflight from Whrillwind or MT or Hoffman or Airplast?

Yes, they are investigating other propellor options.

14) What is the status on the certified Europa?

Ivan's skunkworks are working on development of the aircraft.

Tony
