I bought 10 kgs of Alodine last year. I still have a little spare left in 1
kg bottles. Problem is I am not meant to ship it because its not ever so
nice. I don't think its really nasty either but would not want to send it
through the post. I have used alodine as a pre-paint primer and in some
cases have sprayed clear varnish only on top to give quite an attractive
finish. Not the most durable finish though. I have also had many parts
anodised which is great but you should ensure that any preparation you use
is acceptable to the designers.
