In the US only the builder of the aircraft is allowed to work on it other
than A&P mechanics. When homebuilts are sold the new owner can sometimes get
theoriginal builder to continue maintaining it or you will have to go the
A&P route.

When completed Europas first came on to the market, they were selling for
quite high values. This has sinse dropped off and now seems to have
stabilised at around a value that would equal what it probably costs to
build one. It seems unlikely that they would increase in value over time though.
