If you use one of my moulded phenolic firewalls, the rudder tubes are behind the firewall so everything can be sealed up. I wouldn't claim it keeps all the CO out because it can get in further back, ie flap slots, but it does keep a lot of the heat out of the central tunnel. Graham |
